For people who do good work, then forget it
Every job leaves receipts.
Most people throw them away. Career Receipts keeps a running record of what you actually did — in your profession's own language — so the review, the interview and the raise stop depending on your memory.
The problem
The work is real. The record isn't.
You did the thing. You fixed it, shipped it, saved it, taught it. But somewhere between the work and the conversation about the work, the evidence evaporates.
It disappears quietly
Six months later you can describe the meeting, the mood and who was in the room — but not the number. The number was the whole point.
Reviews reward recall
Promotions don't go to whoever worked hardest. They go to whoever can cite specifics under pressure. That's a note-taking advantage, not a talent one.
Interviews expose the gap
"Tell me about a time when…" and you reach for a story you half-remember — while the numbers that would have proved it are gone.
How it works
Thirty seconds a week. That's the whole habit.
Not a journal, not a journaling app, not another place to feel guilty. A ledger. You put entries in, and it produces evidence out.
Pick your field
Twelve industries, twelve vocabularies. A nurse sees Shift Wins and Patient & Peer Kudos. A sales rep sees Deals and Quota & Pipeline. Same eight sheets underneath.
Log it while it's fresh
One line, one number, one person's name. Before, what changed, after. Rough numbers are fine — "about six hours a week" beats "saved time" every time.
Cash the tape in
Before the review, the interview or the ask, print the receipt. That's your case — already argued, with dates and numbers, addressed to whoever is reading it.
One system, twelve vocabularies
Built for your profession's words.
Generic trackers ask a nurse to log "KPIs". That's why people abandon them. Here the sheet names, the metric and the evidence prompt all change to match the work you actually do.
What you walk in with
Not a feeling. A document.
Every win you log carries the before, the change and the after. Rate the strong ones and they assemble into a receipt you can print, copy into an email or read out loud.
- Print it, copy it, email it. The tape exports as a printed receipt, plain text or a full CSV of every sheet.
- Rate your wins. Mark the strong ones as career receipts and they build your shortlist automatically.
- See the year counted. A dashboard totals your wins, measurable results, feedback on file and skills grown.

Questions
Straight answers.
Where does my data actually go?
Nowhere. Everything you type is stored in your own browser on your own device, and the app is built so it cannot send it anywhere — the page is configured to block all outbound network requests. There's no account, no server and no sync, which is also why there's nothing to leak.
Do I need an account?
No. Open it and use it. The only reason we ask for an email is to send you the demo link and tell you when new industry packs land — and you can unsubscribe from that with one click.
Isn't this just a spreadsheet?
The sheets are the easy part. What you're paying for is the twelve industry vocabularies, the receipt tape that turns your entries into a document, and the prompts that tell you what evidence to cite in your field. A blank spreadsheet asks you to invent all of that yourself.
What exactly is free?
Technology & Engineering, Healthcare & Nursing, and Sales & Business Development are free, complete, and not time-limited. All eight sheets, the tape, the dashboard and CSV export work identically in the free version. The $39 unlocks the other nine industries.
Can I use it offline, or on two devices?
Yes to offline — once the page is open it needs no connection at all. Two devices is where local storage bites: each browser keeps its own copy, so use the CSV export to carry your record across. That's a deliberate trade for privacy, not an oversight.
Is it a subscription?
No. $39 once. No recurring charge, no expiry, no upsell to a "pro tier" later.
What if I'm in an industry that isn't listed?
The structure is the same eight sheets every time, so the closest pack will carry you — the vocabulary just won't be a perfect fit. Tell us which field is missing; new packs are driven by requests, and update buyers get them first.
